Pedi Pro United™ is committed to providing responsible, high-quality education for professionals in the advanced pedicure and foot care industry. All educators and educational content submitted to PPU must meet the following standards and requirements.
Educator Standards
Professional Scope
Education must remain within the legal and professional scope of the intended learner. Educators may not teach students to diagnose, prescribe, cure, medically treat, or manage disease unless the learner independently holds the appropriate healthcare license.
Safety & Referral
Courses must address applicable contraindications, safety precautions, and situations requiring referral to a podiatrist or other healthcare professional.
Accurate Terminology
Educators must use responsible and accurate language. Courses may not imply that PPU education:
- Grants a professional license
- Expands a student's legal scope of practice
- Qualifies a student to practice medicine
- Replaces state-required licensing or education
Infection Control
When applicable, education must demonstrate appropriate sanitation, disinfection, PPE, cross-contamination prevention, single-use practices, and safe instrument handling.
Educational Accuracy
Information must be accurate, current, and presented responsibly. Unsupported medical, health, product, or income claims are not permitted.
Professional Conduct
Educators must maintain professional conduct when interacting with students, other educators, brands, healthcare professionals, and the PPU community.
Transparency
Educators must disclose relevant financial relationships, sponsorships, affiliate relationships, or ownership of products promoted within educational content.
Intellectual Property
All submitted materials must be original or properly authorized for use.
Educator Requirements
PPU educators must:
- Have professional experience, education, credentials, or demonstrated expertise related to the subject being taught
- Submit a professional biography and current headshot
- Provide any applicable licenses, certifications, or credentials requested by PPU
- Submit a clear course title and description
- Provide defined learning objectives
- Submit organized educational content appropriate for the course topic
- Include safety precautions and contraindications when applicable
- Clearly identify situations requiring referral
- Include demonstrations or supporting materials when appropriate
- Provide a student assessment, knowledge check, or other method of measuring comprehension when required
- Agree to the Pedi Pro United™ Educator Standards & Requirements
- Complete requested revisions before final course approval
- Keep educational content reasonably current
Faculty Review
All submitted courses are subject to review by Pedi Pro United™ Faculty.
Faculty may:
- Approve the course
- Request revisions
- Request clarification or supporting information
- Require changes to terminology, safety information, or educational claims
- Decline content that does not meet PPU standards
PPU may periodically review previously approved courses and request updates when industry standards, safety guidance, regulations, or course information changes.
PPU Approval
Approval as a Pedi Pro United™ educator does not constitute medical endorsement, professional licensure, or authorization to practice outside an individual's legal scope.
Pedi Pro United™ reserves the right to approve, decline, suspend, or remove educators or educational content that no longer meets PPU standards.
